知道他很幽默, 這書就寫不了多少他幽默的趣事, 只包括他上任總統後被行刺, 他還可以對一班醫生說: 希望你們都是共和黨吧? 醫生們說: 我們不是人人都是支持共和黨, 不過, 現在一定全力支持你.

列根對太太則說: Sorry, I forgot to duck. (閃避)

 

這書主要記事. 說他對美國的貢獻:

 His most dramatic initiative was his willingness to neglect domestic problems and spend extraordinary sums of money on defense to break the back of communism...USSR was forced to accept far reaching arms-control agreements that made the world safer from nuclear war. In the end, Reagan proponents say, his policies caused the total collapse of communism and the disbanding of the Soviet Union.

有人問他, 他是否特別喜歡救美少女, 不管她是否遇溺.

後來, 說及自己患癌入院:

 I didn't have cancer. I had something inside of me that had cancer in it, and it was removed.
