品味英語 - 日常生活篇

楊鐵樑爵士, 首位華人高院大法官, 蘇州東吳大學及London U畢業.  除了讀書, 似乎沒有在外國長居過, 但英文是頂瓜瓜, 很了不起. 

以他在電台的節目「楊鐵樑留言信箱」內容輯錄成書, 很多小段, 很易看, 也很好看. 當中內容豐富, 英文成語, 禮儀, 常見的錯字讀音, 介紹好書, 外國人的文化, 自己如何學習英文..., 值得推介. 




也是個浪漫的人, 列舉好幾個他覺得浪漫的古詩, 所以和太太鰜鰈情深.

他也愛看字典及字源的書, 可見英文功力很深. 

如果說介紹英文的書, 程度適合成年人商業, 日常用的, 我還是喜歡「絞架幽默」. 

楊爵士能把自已所學, 分享給其他人, 又做到深入淺出, 衷心祝他身體健康, 長壽快樂! 他今年86歲了, 很令人羨慕啊!
